Normal rests in the heart of Central Illinois. With its "Twin City" neighbor, Bloomington, Normal is part of an urban area of approximately 125,000 residents.
Normal is 125 miles southwest of Chicago, 155 miles northeast of St. Louis, and 64 miles northeast of Springfield, the State Capital.
Three major interstate highways converge (I-55, I-74 and I-39) in Normal giving it great transportation access across the central plains.
