Another Town-Gown partnership started today. The Normal Theater along with Illinois State University’s Illinois Shakespeare Festival is bringing “A Century of Shakespeare on Screen” to the community, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Shakespeare Festival. On Monday nights in June, the Normal Theater will be showing film adaptions of Shakespeare’s greatest works, including the critically acclaimed 1996 re-imagination of Romeo and Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Clare Danes. Tickets are $7 for general admission and $5 for students and children 12 and under. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Films begin at 7 p.m. The Normal Theater is located at 209 W. North St., Normal.
