Message from Mayor Koos

The Town recognizes the many challenges our residents have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. To help, the Water Department has waived all late fees and has not terminated services for the past few months. However, this practice will soon come to an end.

Anyone unable to pay their full bill due to loss of or reduced income associated with the pandemic can now set up a payment plan. The Town will continue to waive late fees and/or will not terminate service to those enrolled and contributing to the approved payment plan. To set up a plan, please contact the Water Billing Office at (309) 433-3411 or (309) 454-9710.

In addition to this option, local agencies are offering assistance to residents who anticipate or are experiencing difficulty in paying household bills including rent/mortgage or utilities as a result of job or income loss due to COVID-19. Residents can call PATH Crisis Center at 2-1-1 for assistance and locate other available forms of assistance via the United Way of McLean County’s website at http://uwmclean.org/resources.
