Division 5 - Miniature Golf Links

SEC. 19.5-1 PERMIT. No person, firm or corporation shall erect, construct, keep or maintain any miniature golf links for which an admission fee is charged, even though on private property, within the Town of Normal, without first making application and obtaining a permit in the manner hereinafter provided.

SEC. 19.5-2 APPLICATION. Application shall be made as provided for in this Chapter.

SEC. 19.5-3 CONSENT OF NEIGHBORING PROPERTY OWNERS. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to construct or maintain any miniature golf links where an admission fee is charged even though upon private property in said Town in any block in which one-half of the buildings on both sides of the street are used exclusively for residence purposes, regardless of the existing zoning classification at the time of the application, without first obtaining the consent in writing, of a majority of the property owners according to the frontage on both sides of the street in said block such written consent shall be presented to the Town Council with the application herein provided for.

SEC. 19.5-4 STATE OF REPAIR. Any miniature golf links shall be kept in a good state of repair and in a condition not to endanger the safety of persons or property. The manager, or person in charge of said golf links, shall be responsible for the conduct of players, and shall see that the players do not disturb the peace and quiet of others.
