Jack emailed committee members asking their opinion on having a meeting next Tuesday, January 20th at 7:00 to discuss the process. The committee was receptive to this idea. Next week please bring list of discussion group members, any questions about the process, and tips to share with the group if you have already had success with your discussion groups.
Update on 2015, 2020 and 2025 Reports
Mark Peterson, City Manager, provided an updated on the progress the Town has made towards the recommendations as outlined in the 2015, 2020 and 2025 reports. Mark indicated that the Council and staff so use these reports in guiding decisions and public policies. Additionally, Mark uses them to create his annual goals. The ideas in these reports were generated by the committee themselves, with little or not Council or staff recommendations. The Council received these reports in the spirit in which they were written. Main themes throughout all three reports are regionalization, growth management and quality of life.

Next meeting will be January 20th at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room C to discuss the process of the discussion groups.
