MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE NORMAL LOCAL LIQUOR COMMISSION HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL, 100 EAST PHOENIX AVENUE, NORMAL, MCLEAN COUNTY, ILLINOIS, OCTOBER 21, 2002.
- CALL TO ORDER:
Commissioner Kent M. Karraker called the regular meeting of the Normal Local Liquor Commission to order at 6:55 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2002.
- ROLL CALL:
The Secretary called the roll with the following persons
PRESENT: Commissioner Karraker and Board Members Garrett Scott, Cheryl Gaines, Chris Koos, Adam Nielsen, Craig Ward, and Sonja Reece.
ABSENT: None. - APPROVAL OF MINUTES – REGULAR MEETING – JULY 15, 2002:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES – SPECIAL MEETING – OCTOBER 7, 2002:
MOTION:
Mr. Koos moved, seconded by Ms. Gaines, the minutes be approved as presented.
AYES: Scott, Gaines, Koos, Nielsen, Ward, Reece, Karraker.
NAYS: None.
Motion declared carried.
- REPORT – SECOND INSTALLMENTS OF LICENSE PAYMENTS:
MOTION:
Mrs. Reece moved, seconded by Mr. Ward, the report of the Secretary regarding the second installments of license payments be accepted and placed on file.
AYES: Scott, Gaines, Koos, Nielsen, Ward, Reece, Karraker.
NAYS: None.
Motion declared carried.
- OTHER BUSINESS:
Mr. Ward questioned the time frame involved in bringing the proposed changes to the liquor code to the table. Commissioner Karraker indicated no decision had been made as to the time frame involved for the proposed code changes.
- ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the Commissioner requested at Motion to Adjourn.
MOTION:
Mr. Koos moved, seconded by Mr. Scott, the regular meeting of the Normal Local Commission be adjourned.
AYES: Scott, Gaines, Koos, Nielsen, Ward, Reece, Karraker.
NAYS: None.
