  2. Minutes: Approval of the minutes of Thursday, January 5, 2006 regular meeting.
     
  3. Public Hearing:
    1. Case No. 05-10-19-PC: Amended Site Plan and Special Use Permit – 310 Wylie Drive (Crossroads Center). This item has been carried over since the Oct. 6, 2005 meeting.
    2. Case No. 06-01-07-PC: Amended Site Plan – 1301 Warriner (Town of Normal Public Works Facility) – Carried over from the January 5, 2006 meeting to consider a landscaping plan.
    3. Case No. 06-02-09-PC: Amended Site Plan – 1430 Ft. Jesse Rd (Sud’s), Pole Sign Addition
    4. Case No. 06-02-10-PC: Zoning Map Amendment – 309 W. Beaufort (Rezoning from B-2 Central Business District to S-1 University District)
    5. Case No. 06-02-11-PC: Zoning Map Amendment – 15 Traders Circle (Rezoning from B-1 General Business District to S-1 University District)
    6. Case No. 06-01-08-PC: A public hearing will be conducted by the Planning Commission on a comprehensive amendment to the Town of Normal Comprehensive Plan

  1. Case No. 06-01-01-PC: Amended Pre-Annexation Agreement between Lucia M. Tipton, Alan L. McClure, Calvary United Methodist Church, and the Town of Normal – 1700 N. Towanda Avenue. (Approved 7-0)
  2. Case No. 06-01-02-PC: Pre-Annexation Agreement between Paul Bates and the Town of Normal – 84 +/- acres at 2000 County Road North and Towanda Avenue (County Road 1600 East). (Approved 7-0)
  3. Case No. 06-01-03-PC: Zoning Map Amendment, 505 E. Vernon Ave. (Custer) (Approved 7-0)
  4. Case No. 06-01-04-PC: Preliminary Subdivision Plan, 505 E. Vernon Ave. (Custer) (Approved 7-0)
  5. Case No. 06-01-05-PC: Site Plan (Alzheimer’s care facility), 505 E. Vernon Ave. (Custer) (Approved 7-0 with a tree mitigation fee of $40,000)
  6. Case No. 06-01-06-PC: Zoning Code Text Amendment, Divisions 6 and 10 of Chapter 15 (Zoning Code) to add “Remote Controlled Racetracks” to the Special Uses permitted in the B-1, M-1, and M-2 districts and to add Special Use Standards for “Remote Controlled Racetracks.” Also, Sec. 6-22(B) will include “Remote Controlled Racetracks” in the list of uses prohibited within the P-1 Corridor. (Approved 7-0)
