Ironwood Golf Course
The Ironwood Golf course is the Town’s full service golf facility. It features a par 72 championship layout playing from 5400-6900 yards with four sets of tees. Ironwood was designed by highly regarded golf course designer Roger Packard and meanders through the Ironwood residential subdivision. Opened in 1990, Ironwood Golf Course has hosted numerous high school regional, sectional and conference Tournaments, collegiate invitational tournaments, state tournaments, and the Illinois Qualification Site for the Maxfli/PGA Junior National Championships.
Additional
features include a grass tee driving range, large practice putting
green and a practice bunker. The Golf Academy at Ironwood, under
the direction of, Professional Golf Instructor Craig Onsrud, features
instruction for golfers of all ability levels.
Ironwood has a large capacity banquet facility featuring a picturesque view of the golf course that is ideal for golf outing banquets.
