The Bank of Illinois finished construction on a new facility just west of their former building on College Avenue in April of 2007. In addition to the bank, various other organizations are headquartered in this beautiful new four story 40,000 square ft. building. The bank’s old building has been razed and a new parking garage and mixed use building is being built in its place (“College Ave. Parking Deck”). The new parking garage will provide ample parking to the bank, Normal Library, and other Uptown businesses. Construction on the parking deck began in August 2007 and is anticipated to finish this spring.
