OPEN HOUSE PUBLIC HEARING
SCHEDULED BY
THE TOWN OF NORMAL
FOR
THE PROPOSED UPTOWN NORMAL CIRCULAR INTERSECTION AND
ASSOCIATED ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS
The Town of Normal will conduct an Open House Public Hearing on April 24, 2006 to provide information and solicit public comments regarding the Uptown Normal Circular Intersection, and Associated Roadway Improvements project in Normal, Illinois. The Hearing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Normal Public Library Community Room (Lower Level) located at 206 West College Avenue in Normal.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed Uptown Normal Circular Intersection and Associated Roadway Improvements. Some on-street parking will be removed in conjunction with this project. Exhibits, maps, and aerial photography of the proposed roadway improvements developed in the study will be available for inspection and viewing. Representatives from the Town and their consultants will be available throughout the evening to discuss the project and answer any questions. All persons interested in this project are invited to attend.
The Hearing will be conducted on an informal basis; no formal presentation is planned. Comment sheets will be provided for those in attendance who wish to provide a written statement. Written comments received at this meeting or sent to Mr. Kevin Seals c/o Hanson Professional Services, Inc., 1525 South Sixth Street, Springfield, Illinois 62703 by May 25, 2006 will be included in the official project record. The environmental document for this project will be available for inspection at the City Clerk’s office located at 100 E. Phoenix, Normal, Illinois from April 10, 2006 to May 25, 2006.
This Open House Public Hearing will be accessible to physically disabled individuals in compliance with the 1978 Accessibility Standards prepared by the Capital Development Board.
