Housing Division
The Housing Division is staffed by 5 full-time inspectors. The function of the division is to annually inspect and license the Town’s apartments, rooming houses, one and two family rentals, mobile home parks, hotels and motels. All told this accounts for around 1,000 buildings and 7,500 units a year. The Housing Division is a great resource in providing assistance to property owners, landlords and tenants. Two of the inspectors are responsible for proactively address issues such as illegal parking, inoperable or unlicensed vehicles, trash and debris, weed growth, graffiti and variety of other exterior code issues. The Housing division has adopts and enforces the 2006 International Property Code and all staff are ICC certified as Property Maintenance Inspectors. Primary contact people are as listed:
