Recent Beautification Projects
The Town is committed in continuing its efforts on urban beautification and landscaping.
Park staff installs and maintains numerous landscaped areas and
planters about the Town.
Park facility identification signs, municipal buildings, major Town
entrances, new parking lots and designated Historic Neighborhood
Districts are highlighted and accentuated.
Additionally, the Park staff plants many trees throughout the community, with over 500 trees being planted just during 2005. The Town is designated Tree City, USA by the National Arbor Foundation for 7 straight years for its efforts.
