Waste Collection
Christmas trees are collected by the brush crew. All metal objects, stands, decorations, and plastic bags must be removed from Christmas trees. Christmas trees should be placed in a separate pile at the curb the night before regular garbage collection. Christmas trees are put through a tub grinder and the wood chips are given to residents to use as landscaping mulch. Due to the presence of metal frames and wire Christmas wreaths should be placed in a separate pile at the curb for the bulky waste crew.
