Emerald Ash Borer Beetle found in McLean County
The Illinois Department of Agriculture has notified the Town officials that the emerald ash borer beetle has been located in our region. There is no public health risk associated with the beetle, however it does threaten the community's ash tree population. The Town of Normal is working cooperatively with the City of Bloomington and State officials to develop a community plan in response to this finding.
