Bulky Waste Collection
Bulky
waste is collected each week on your regular garbage day.
- Property owners doing major renovations including but not limited to re-roofing, the removal and replacement of concrete driveways and sidewalks where debris exceeds 500 pounds should rent a commercial dumpster from a private garbage collector.
- Bulky waste items, weighing not more than 500 pounds, should be placed at the curb separate from regular garbage containers.
- No bulky waste may be set out before 6:00 p.m. the day prior to collection or later than 5:00 a.m. on your regular collection day.
- Bulky waste that violates rules will be removed at the cost of removal plus a $100 fine.
- Materials from contractors will not be collected.
Help us to be more efficient! Do not place bulky waste near trees, fire hydrants, next to parked cars or on the street; use your driveway or parkway only. A large piece of equipment called a knuckle-boom truck picks up the bulky waste and there must be sufficient room for that equipment to operate.
