(Ages 3-4) Creative activities will introduce the basic elements of dance including rhythm & time, movement qualities & dynamics, space, and use of body. Basic dance vocabulary and concepts will also be introduced at an age appropriate level to prepare students for future participation in any type of structured dance class.
Heel to Toe(Ages 3-5) This class will teach the basics of both ballet and tap dance. Dancers will develop a sense of rhythm as well as body awareness and the space around them. Jr. Pee Wee Soccer

Pee Wee All Sports
This activity will introduce children ages 3-5 to a variety of today's most popular sports. Basic skills will be taught through use of an assortment of fun activities and games.Sports to be covered include: baseball, basketball, football, soccer hockey, and track & field. Program meets in the fall, winter and spring for 45 minutes on Saturdays.
Pee Wee P.E.
Boys and Girls ages 4-5 years will enjoy exercise and a variety of games, similar to an elementary school program. This 6 week program will meet 45 minutes on weekday mornings. This program meets at the Community Activity Center.
Pee Wee Soccer
Boys and girls ages 4-5 can participate in a co-ed soccer program that meets Tuesday or Thursday for a 45 minute practice. A game is played on Saturday mornings. Teams will consist of 6 players. Saturday games will be played 3 vs. 3 with no goalies. Each team will be assigned a coach who is on staff with Normal Parks and Recreation. This is a great way to introduce participants to the game of soccer and meet new friends. Practices and Games will be held at One Normal Plaza Soccer Fields. Classes are offered Fall & Spring. (ages 4 1/2 - 5 1/2) – Classes introduce basic ballet vocabulary and movement skills while building a foundation for future progression in the study of ballet. This program is offered from September through April.
This class is offered in the summer to children ages 6-8 years one day a week. Soccer Stars is a 5 week program for boys and girls. Participants will focus on stilling good habits to young soccer players by teaching proper fundamentals. Topics will include striking, passing, dribbling, and much more. Sparks Soccer- Illinois Fire Juniors This is an introduction to soccer, where children and parents can take their first steps in soccer together! Specifically designed for children aged 3-5 years old and using the fun of play and imaginative stories, Little Sparks facilitates a child's physical, mental, social and emotional development through the game of soccer. Parent and child classes are offered beginning at 6 months. At age 3, children begin Learn to Swim classes. The station method is utilized to progress students through the seven Red Cross swim levels. Lessons take place indoors in the fall, winter and spring. During the summer months participants can choose indoor or outdoor pools.
This is an opportunity for your little ones, three to five years of age, to get an early start in tumbling. This forty-five minute class is an introduction to the basics of tumbling and will ready them for further tumbling and body movement. Wee Ball is for boys and girls ages three through five. Participants will be introduced to the sport of baseball through a variety of fun games and activities. A glove is not required to participate. No games are played at this level. Practice is twice a week for eight weeks during the summer.
